Wi-Fi 7 Router Prices: Compare Current Routers and Multi-Gig Ports
Wi-Fi 7 routers vary widely in radio class, band design, Ethernet ports and software features. The lowest-priced model may have only one multi-gig port, while higher-end routers may include several 2.5GbE ports or a 10GbE interface. This tracker highlights the specifications that affect real network design.

Wireless class is not a guaranteed client speed
Labels such as BE9300 or BE19000 combine theoretical capacity across radios. A single phone or laptop uses only part of that total and remains limited by its own antennas, channel width, signal quality and distance.
Check the wired ports before the headline speed
A router intended for multi-gig internet or fast NAS access needs suitable WAN and LAN ports. One 10GbE WAN port is not the same as multiple multi-gig LAN ports.
Coverage may matter more than peak speed
A well-positioned router can outperform a more expensive unit placed poorly. Large or multi-floor homes may benefit more from a mesh system with wired backhaul than from one extremely powerful router.
Frequently asked questions
Will a Wi-Fi 7 router work with older devices?
Yes. Wi-Fi generations are designed for backward compatibility, although older devices will use their own supported standard and capabilities.
Do all Wi-Fi 7 routers support 6GHz?
Product configurations differ by model and market. Buyers should confirm the supported bands and local regulatory availability on the manufacturer page.
Is a 10GbE port necessary?
Not for most internet connections. It becomes useful for multi-gig internet, high-speed NAS access, fast wired backhaul or future expansion.
