UGREEN’s compatibility claim and its limit
UGREEN states that NASync systems are compatible with third-party hard drives from Seagate, Western Digital, Toshiba and others. Best standard IronWolf capacities

RAID choices in four bays
RAID 5 uses one drive’s capacity for parity; RAID 6 uses two. RAID 10 mirrors striped pairs and also gives half of raw capacity. A single or JBOD layout has no equivalent redundancy. 10GbE does not make one hard drive faster
