Why SSD and HDD results must be separated

The BarraCuda brand spans mechanical drives and solid-state products. A generic keyword search can mix ZA, ZP, ST and external products, corrupting price-per-terabyte and specification tables.

Original BarraCuda SATA SSD

The ZA...CM10002 family used a 2.5-inch 7mm SATA form factor, 3D TLC NAND, capacities from 250GB to 2TB and a five-year limited warranty.

BarraCuda 120 SSD

The later CM10003 family retained 2.5-inch SATA compatibility and TLC NAND while publishing updated endurance figures. Exact model numbers end in 003 rather than 002.

BarraCuda Q1 SSD

Q1 models use 3D QLC NAND and capacities of 240GB, 480GB and 960GB. The lower-cost design has a different endurance and warranty profile from the TLC families.

BarraCuda 510 NVMe SSD
