Be honest! How much time do you spend without the internet? How much time do you physically and mentally spend with your loved ones? How much time do you spend without your beloved smartphone in your hand?
Minimal, to say the least!
That is the unfortunate truth of today’s connected world. We are connected to the world for sure, but we are also disconnected from our immediate surroundings.
However, the constant connection to the world has given us limitless opportunities to earn money online – FAST!
Yes, that is one of the good aspects of the almighty internet. Anyone and everyone can earn money with little effort.
We can do almost anything using a screen. So, earning money should not be a problem.
One of the major reasons for the disconnect with our immediate surroundings is the need to earn money to make ends meet.
I am not going to lie. Sometimes, making money takes priority. So, money is the driving factor for you to spend a significant amount of time online. I have compiled a list of 31+ future ways to make money online fast.
I am not going to claim that all methods will work for you, or that all methods are safe. No one can claim that. It all depends on your talents and your appetite for risk.
The good thing, however, is that most of the methods listed below do not require you to have specialized talent.
In fact, some of these methods do not require any special talent. All it requires is your willingness to get the job done. Some of them will require risk-taking, making them not so appealing for many people.
So, without wasting time any further, let us take a deep dive into the list and find out what you can do to earn money online fast.
The Simplest Tasks
This segment will list the tasks that do not require special skills. Your everyday skill is all that you need. In fact, some of these tasks are so easy that even a child or an old person can get the done in a matter of minutes.
Let’s start with the list.
#01. Micro Gigs at MTurk
Some people have heard of this name, some haven’t. MTurk is a wing of Amazon where companies and users post jobs. These are usually tedious, repetitive jobs that do not require any special skill (most of the time).
Yes, the pay is not very high. You earn in cents for each micro task. Sometimes, you may earn a few dollars for a single task.
What type of tasks do you need to do? Here are a few types that you can find:
- Create an email ID and hand over the username and password.
- Visit a website and click on an ad.
- Visit a YouTube channel and subscribe, like, comment, etc.
- Sign Up on a website.
- Type something on a Word document from an image.
- Type data into spreadsheets.
And so on…
These jobs do not require any special skills. Some of them will take barely a minute to complete. The more you work, the more you earn. MTurk is not the only platform. There are several others. RapidWorkers is one of them.
#02. Participate in a Research
If you’re looking to earn $100 or more each day, this is an excellent place to start without requiring any expertise or talent!
You may participate in focus groups to voice your views. Companies are seeking competent individuals to engage in their research projects, and you do not have to possess any professional skill to apply.
User Interviews is a legitimate business that offers qualified respondents for research to anybody who needs them. And they are now recruiting on a global scale!
Pay ranges from $75 for half an hour of your time to $450 for an hour-long investigation that needs extreme precision.
User Interviews offers a wide range of studies on a variety of subjects, including consumer goods, food, technology, software, family, pets, hobbies, transportation, sports, social media, beauty, and music.
They work with some great companies, such as Wayfair, Pinterest, Vistaprint, Spotify, and Thumbtack.
The whole modus operandi can be summed up in four points:
- Apply for participating in studies that you think are a perfect fit for you.
- The research sponsor will review your application, and if you are a good fit, you will receive an invitation.
- You must select a time most suitable for you from the given time slots.
- Complete the study and get paid via channels like PayPal, Amazon Gift Cards, cash, etc.
User Interviews isn’t the only option you have. There are others, too. For instance, Respondent.io is another great place to start where you can earn anywhere between $50 and $250 per research.
#03. Participate in Online Surveys
Let me be honest. This is not the type of job where you expect to make tons of money. It is not a lucrative niche, but hey, it never hurts to earn a few extra bucks.
One of the major problems with online surveys is that most of the sites are not reliable. So, you will need to hunt down the best options for yourself.
My research tells me that Survey Junkie and Swagbucks are the best in business for now.
Swagbucks isn’t just for taking surveys. You can also earn cashbacks from this platform, and you get a $10 welcome bonus. Survey Junkie, on the other hand, is only for surveys.
Usually, these surveys do not take any more than 10 minutes. Some people can earn thousands a year, while other users stay content at a few hundred bucks per year.
With surveys like these, you can make anywhere between $5 and $20 a day. Not really bad if you want a few extra bucks to buy yourself a fancy new thing you spotted somewhere online or in a brick-and-mortar shop.
#04. Earn to Watch Videos, Play Games, or Read Emails Online
Sounds weird, right?
Well, it does, indeed, sound too good to be true. But it is true. There are online resources where you get paid for performing these tasks.
All it takes is watching a video, or playing an online game, or just reading emails. Do keep in mind though, these tasks will not help you earn enough to be tagged as rich. They are only good for making a few extra dollars a month to help you, perhaps, pay your bills.
In case you do not know where to start, you can head over to InboxDollars and sign up to get a $5 bonus. You can then start earning.
InboxDollars also has provisions for online surveys if you are interested. Surveys can help you earn more than watching videos and playing games. However, if you want to do these things continuously, you can earn several hundred dollars a week or month.
#05. Shop for Others
Not really entirely online, but shopping for others can be a beneficial task, especially knowing that you don’t need specific qualifications for this one.
What is interesting is that you do use an online platform to get the tasks. You can always check out Instacart. With Instacart, you can register as an independent contractor and then go shopping on behalf of others.
The modus operandi is very simple. You register with Instacart, you are offered an order, you take the order and go shopping. You shop the things on the list, and you get paid for doing so. Usually, the payment is between $10 and $20 an hour, however, during busy times, you can earn up to $25 an hour.
What is interesting about this job is that you get to choose and work as per your schedule. If you don’t have time, you can decline.
#06. Have Your Car Wrapped
Now, this is quite interesting. It will work only and only when you have a car. How about having it wrapped with advertisement and earning?
There is an online service that will help you get into this. It is called Wrapify. However, do take note that this is not going to help you earn thousands of dollars a month. Depending on your car size and type, and the type of wrapping you want, you can make $452 per month (an estimated value).
Now, the important thing here is that you cannot just have your car wrapped in ads and expect to earn money from that. You need to drive your car through specified routes during campaigns. That should be easy!
There are no special talents needed for this. The only things you need include:
- A good car that is not older than 2008.
- You should be at least 21 years old.
- You should not have a criminal record, and you should have a clean driving record.
If you can satisfy all three of these conditions, you will qualify.
#07. Just Install Apps
The only skill requirement here is that you should know how to install an app on your smartphone. I hope you can do that! Toddlers do that!
Here is the catch, though!
Installing any and every app is not what I am talking about here. There are specific apps – Nielsen and UpVoice.
Let us talk about Nielsen first. It was initially focused on collecting data by tracking TV ratings. Now, the company has broadened its spectrum, and it is actively engaged in studying the future of the online world.
So, if you are a US resident, what you need to do is pick up your smartphone and install the app. Nielsen will start collecting data about which websites you visit, how long you stay on those websites, and so on.
Well, in case you are worried about privacy, you can shun that thought. Nielsen will never attribute any data to you. At least, that is what they say. It is all anonymous data. So, you should not be worried. In return, you get $50 a year.
Well, that’s peanuts! I know that, but hey, every drop of water combined makes a sea. Don’t forget that basic thing.
The next one in line is UpVoice. This one is available as a Chrome extension, and as an app for Windows 10. It is a passive user panel which pays users for regularly browsing certain sites like Amazon, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
What does UpVoice gain from it? They will collect the data about the ads that you see on those websites. They will take the data and match it with their demographic data for creating useful marketing insights for various brands.
The way UpVoice works is that when you visit your social streams, you collect points. Users can then redeem these points as gift cards. You can expect to earn at least $75 in the first year of participation.
#08. Pet Sitting
Yes, it certainly doesn’t sound like a way to earn money online. You don’t sit a pet online. You must do it physically.
The thing is, how do you get a job like this? Of course, you search for available jobs over the internet.
Just in case you do not know where you start, but you are good with pets, you can start with Rover. You must register with them, and whenever an opportunity shows up, you can accept it if it fits your schedule.
There are different things you can offer such as dog boarding, house-sitting, dog daycare, and dog walking. Whichever service you want to offer, you must mention that clearly while registering with Rover.
Pet sitting is an extraordinary way to make some extra bucks to cover many of your expenses. You can expect to make $100 a week. Sometimes, you can make a little more.
#09. Earn by Listening to Music
Yeah, you can do that as well. All it takes is listening to music and leaving reviews. This is the best no-skill-needed job for those who love music. The thing is everyone loves music. So, this is a good fit for just about anyone who wants to make some extra cash.
One of the best places to start is Slicethepie.com. It is the internet’s largest paid review site where you must sign up first and then start providing honest reviews.
So, what exactly do you review? Yes, music!
Just listen to the music created by unsigned bands and artists and leave an honest review. The more depth your review has, the more you earn. Yes, it is as simple as that.
They website pays out using PayPal, with the minimum payout being $10. If you do this consistently every day, you can earn a few hundred dollars a week. That’s not bad at all. That should be good enough to cover some bills.
#10. Sell You Stuff Online
If you have things that you no longer use, but are in very usable condition, you can consider selling them online. For instance, you can sell your used clothing, your old computer or laptop, your old phone, perhaps your old couch, and so on.
Honestly, the only skill that you will need is to create an account with online marketplaces where you can sell those stuff and creating a profile, uploading the images, and setting a price.
Make sure that you are setting the price appropriately. The price you set should be significantly less than the current market value of the product. eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist are a few good places to start.
You can even sell old jewelry and antiques if you have them.
The only downside to this method of earning is that you must have a lot of stuff to sell to make a significant amount of money. There is no recurring income either. Once you sell a product, you sell it. That’s the end of the story.
#11. Become a Professional Flipper
Okay, this thing you can take seriously to earn a lot. There are people who have made a career out of flipping stuff.
So, what do you need to do?
You start offline.
You must visit garage sales, flea markets, clearance racks, and so on. Identify undamaged and usable goods and get hold of them at a low price. If some of them require a bit of repairing, you can get them, too and have them repaired.
Once you are in possession of the product, you can now turn online and start selling them at a higher price.
You can flip just about anything you can lay your hands on. For instance, you can flip antiques, furniture, books, old cars, and more.
However, the thing to note here is that try to flip things that people need. If you are trying to sell something that people do not need, you will meet disappointment.
#12. Play Games on Your Phone
Playing games on your smartphone does not require special skills, unless you think otherwise and compare them to the Olympics.
We can keep that argument aside for some other time. The point here is that almost all of us play games on our smartphones. If you do that every day, you can turn your habit into money.
Well, of course, you don’t get rich by playing games. You can definitely make a few extra bucks to accommodate those last-minute expenses.
In case you do not know where to start, you can start with Mistplay.
It is a legit app, to say the least. The average rating on Google Play Store is 4 stars out of 5.
So, how do you start making money out of it? Start by installing the app from the Play Store on your Android phone.
Then, install a game on your list and start playing. After you have played for 2 to 5 minutes, you will start earning. Now, the earnings are in ‘Units.’ Yes, that is what it is called – Units.
You can earn extra units by sharing your feedback to the game developers, who can use your feedback to improve their games before public launch.
Once you have a sufficient number of Units, you can redeem them in the form of gift cards. There are various types of gift cards to select from such as PlayStation gift cards, Google Play gift cards, Amazon gift cards, and so on.
As I said earlier, you are not going to get rich by doing this. It is only for making a few extra bucks that can help you pay a few bills, maybe!
Jobs That Require Skills
In this segment I will be pointing out the jobs that will require some specialized skills if you want to make money online. Also, do note that some of these jobs mentioned here will not always allow you to make money fast. You will need to establish your reputation and once you do that, you can earn big.

I personally prefer UpWork over any other platform. You can try it too. However, you are always free to try out other platforms.
#14. Become a Freelance SEO Specialist
If you can become a freelance SEO specialist, you can earn big. Earning thousands of dollars from a single client won’t be a big issue. If you have multiple clients, you can compound your income rapidly.
But here is the thing – you must know how to perform SEO or Search Engine Optimization. It is not an easy task, and you must have a thorough knowledge of every aspect of SEO including on-page SEO and off-page SEO.
Search Engine Optimization involves everything from fixing website errors to checking the backlink profile, backlink building, content analysis, content generation, blogger outreach and guest posts, and much more.
You must have knowledge about Google’s search algorithms, and you must learn how to adapt with every algorithm update so that you can keep your client’s websites on the top of Google search results.
You must be able to tailor SEO strategies as per the unique needs of your clients. Do remember that in the world of SEO the policy of “one size fits all” never works. This is because different industries and their respective niches have different needs. So, you must learn everything about SEO before you get into this thing.
Do not forget that your clients will want to see results. They will want their websites to rank high on Google search results. If you cannot deliver, you are of no use to them.
#15. Become a Freelance SEM Specialist
SEM or Search Engine Marketing is not an easy thing. Just like SEO, you must have proper knowledge of SEM.
Search Engine Marketing needs a thorough understanding of how PPC advertisements operate. Additionally, you’ll need to be an expert at keyword research in order to identify terms with a high economic worth.
Numerous businesses and even small and medium-sized websites place advertisements in the Google search results. Therefore, if you are knowledgeable in your field, there is an excellent chance to earn money by offering your skills. Businesses utilise SEM to get to the top of Google’s search results. This is most noticeable during the Christmas season, when nearly the entire first page of Google search results is taken up with advertisements.
Clients for SEM will be difficult to come by, but not impossible. You may always search for similar opportunities on freelance sites such as Upwork. Additionally, a simple Google search may uncover many possibilities.
As with SEO, SEM is a very lucrative area in which you may quickly make more than $50,000 per year. However, you will need a variety of abilities to get there. Among these abilities include statistics and data analysis, a knowledge of pay-per-click advertisements, writing ability, and persuasive communication abilities.

If you are familiar with social media advertising and promotion and have experience managing social media accounts and engaging followers, you may use your skills to get employment as a social media manager. Some businesses, large and small, choose to outsource their social media management to agencies or people.
Social media managers are responsible for a range of duties, including scheduling posts, conducting quizzes, running PPC advertising, and responding to customer service inquiries through social media. You may approach specialist sites such as Indeed, 99 Dollar Social, and The Social Element, but you can also search for social media manager positions on freelance platforms such as Upwork, People Per Hour, and others.
Social media managers are frequently required to provide a comprehensive service package that includes creating engaging posts, creating images, sharing posts, managing multiple platforms, analyzing engagement reports, and tweaking social media campaigns to optimize ad expenses while also increasing engagement, brand visibility, and revenue.
The more experience you have, the more you may charge your customers, who will gladly pay anything you want as long as you can demonstrate results. Of course, experience is valuable, which is why you should experiment with your own social media accounts prior to seeking customers.
#17. Become a Social Media Influencer
This particular task will not need a specialized skill, but it does have a special requirement. You must be famous on social media, and you must have a large fan following.
If you are well-known on social media sites such as Instagram, YouTube, or Twitter, and have a sizable fan following, you may turn your social media account into a money-making engine. There are large businesses that are interested in collaborating with prominent individuals on social media to advertise their goods and services.

Customer service requires the essential skill of communication. You also need to be polite and patient. If you possess these skills, you can become successful in this field.
While the popular notion is that customer service is supposed to be an in-office job, it is also a legitimate home-based occupation. The business world has changed significantly, and several firms now employ customer support agents who work remotely from their homes.
Naturally, you must complete the company’s onboarding procedure. Once completed, you will need a computer, a solid and fast internet connection, and, in most instances, a headset configuration.
Whether temporary or permanent, you will be employed by the business and will be expected to work according to their schedule. Earn between $10 and $15 per hour. If you’re unsure where to look for such positions, you may contact the following companies:
All of these businesses have an excellent reputation. You can trust them implicitly.

There are platforms dedicated to these professions. You may always check out sites such as Tutor.com or Tuta Point.
There are a plethora of such venues. All you need to do is do a fast Google search and you will discover many choices. Registration is needed, and you will be asked to fill out the information they ask for before being accepted as a teacher on their site.
#20. Become a Data Entry Operator
Sounds like a job that doesn’t require any skill, right? You cannot be more wrong! Data entry operators need to have excellent keyboard skills. They must be fast and accurate, and it takes time and practice to achieve that. If you have the needed speed and accuracy in typing, becoming a data entry operator can help you to earn extra cash.
You are not needed to search for data entry employment with specialist businesses. Numerous such tasks are accessible on platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, and others. All you have to do is register and bid.
Data entry tasks may take many different forms, like entering data into Excel or typing from scanned handwritten papers. Data entry workers earn about $15 per hour, although their earnings may be more based on their speed and accuracy.
#21. Become an Online Translator
There is an ever-increasing need for translators. Numerous businesses employ freelance translators to manually translate their material for audiences in various regions. This enables them to overcome linguistic barriers and expand across nations and continents.
It is not difficult to get translation employment. Hundreds of translation tasks are available on different employment sites such as Freelancer, People Per Hour, and others. You may register with such websites for free and begin bidding immediately. If you already have a portfolio to show, that will be a plus.
Translation jobs are well compensated and may pay up to $100 per hour, depending on your expertise, translation accuracy, and knowledge of the language into which you are translating existing material. However, as a newcomer, you may be required to start at as little as $30 an hour.
#22. Become an Online Transcriptionist
Transcriptionists are highly sought after. To qualify for this position, you must possess superior listening abilities. Additionally, you will need the required tools, as well as the ability to type quickly and correctly. As a transcriptionist, your job is to listen to audio files or videos and transcribe what is said.
Don’t forget that transcriptionists’ speed and understanding of grammar are critical. You cannot afford to submit a document that contains grammatical mistakes.
Transcription services are needed in a variety of sectors, including healthcare, entertainment, and banking. There are many sites for freelancing where you may discover such tasks.
Transcriptionists often earn between $20 and $30 per hour. The more labor you do, the more money you make. With expertise and the ability to market your skills effectively, you may make up to $100 per hour.
#23. Become a Web Developer

The WordPress theme industry is booming. There are many large businesses that one can mention off the top of one’s head. There is, for example, MyThemeShop, GeneratePress, and StudioPress.
If you’re not interested in starting your own business, you may always find freelance employment via sites like Upwork, People Per Hour, and others. Additionally, you may develop themes and sell them via markets such as Envato.
Essentially, web developers have a lot of opportunities to make a lot of money.
#24. Become a Graphic Designer
A graphics designer, like a web developer, must be able to create designs. Apart from being proficient with various graphics design tools, a graphics designer also needs to be very creative in order to produce really distinctive and original images.

However, if you want to earn a lot of money, you need to have some sort of professional degree that will enable you to get recruited fast by customers. Professional writers undertake proofreading work on sites such as Proofreading Pal. You may try your luck there if you are a skilled writer.
To work as a proofreader, certain talents are needed. For example, you should be acquainted with several writing styles such as APA, AP, CMS, and MLA. However, keep in mind that the amount you make as an editor or proofreader is contingent upon the kind and quantity of customers you accept.

Numerous businesses seek remote accounting service providers in order to save money on operating expenses. That is something you can use. However, you should have a strong background in finance, since your work will need you to keep track of revenue and expenses, prepare financial reports, and invoice customers, among other things.
Due to the fact that this is all about financial transactions, you cannot afford to make any errors. That is why it is critical to possess a financial background. Generally, businesses will not entertain you unless you possess the necessary expertise.
If you do possess the necessary skills, you may expect to earn between $25 and $50 per hour as a bookkeeper. Voiceover artists are needed in a variety of sectors, including films, podcasts, cartoons, audio recordings, and mobile applications.

Online Jobs That Can Become Businesses
Now, here is a list of ways to make money online with a full business angle. However, these methods are not really as fast as you would like them to be. They require some patience, and you can convert these jobs into full-time businesses.
#30. Start a Blog
Blogging may earn you millions in a few years if you work diligently and strategically. Numerous blogs have accomplished this.
Here is where you may get the catchphrase. You must do ‘SMART WORK.’ Of course, hard effort will be required, but it must be done prudently. Numerous bloggers make six figures in their first two years of blogging.
I will be forthright! It’s very simple to start a blog. If you’re interested in learning how to create a blog, you may find a comprehensive guide here. The challenging thing is making it a success. That is when commitment and shrewd effort come into play. You must develop a viable plan.
Bear in mind that Google is out there, and it is always grumpy. It is capable of bringing down even the most established websites and blogs in a matter of minutes, eradicating any revenue generated by your blog.
Thus, intelligence will be shown by a reduction in reliance on Google and ad income. The simple approach is to focus on affiliate income, building a loyal reader base, and building a mailing list that you can utilise to directly attract new clients without relying heavily on organic traffic.
Another reason I recommend blogging is because you can maintain it while doing other jobs. Thus, you may continue blogging as a source of money while expanding your revenue streams. I have covered How to Start a Blog should you need help.
#31. Sell Handmade Goods Online
If you are skilled in crafts such as jewellery design or handcrafted home décor, you may want to explore opening your own internet store. Handcrafted items are in great demand. You may always keep an eye on the market.
While this is definitely not an office job, this business may be very lucrative. If you’re hesitant to create an online shop, you may sell your items via platforms such as Amazon, Etsy, or eBay.
Hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs earn thousands of dollars each month selling handmade jewellery, homemade candles, and handmade soaps.
You can always gamble. Once you’ve amassed a large client base via such sites, you can always create your own eCommerce shop and contact consumers directly. This way, you’ll never have to worry about SEO to promote your online store. Your regular consumers will immediately put in your website’s URL and access it.
Naturally, selling your goods directly via your internet shop would need some preparation. For example, you’ll need to arrange payment methods, shipping and order fulfilment, and so on. However, that is a one-time job in the majority of cases. The recurrent task will be obtaining raw supplies.
That is always possible! Are you not of the opinion that this is the case? In case you’re unaware, Amazon has already created many billionaires. You, too, have the potential to be one of them. While starting a new company may be daunting, once you get the feel of it, everything falls into place.
#32. Create and Sell Online Courses
If you have knowledge or skills that people will be willing to pay for to learn from you, it is about time you start creating and selling online courses. This can help you come with a recurring income stream.
However, you must know how to market your courses and sell them to the target audience. This part is not going to be easy. If done right, selling online courses can become your major income source, and you can create a thriving business out of it.
If you don’t know where to start, you can start by using platforms like Teachable, Udemy, SkillShare, etc. However, if you are proficient with website building, you can use a content management system like WordPress to build an ecommerce website for selling your courses. You can think of using a Learning Management System for better organization and results.
#33. Create and Monetize YouTube Channel
YouTubers collectively make billions of dollars every year. Don’t believe me? Well, in 2019, Google made $15.5 billion through ad revenue from YouTube, and around 55% of that goes to YouTubers.
If that sounds interesting and appealing, you can consider creating a YouTube channel and convert it into a full-time money-making business. There is a particular publishing company called Soul Publication that runs the channel “5 Minute Crafts,” and a number of other YouTube channels.
It is a full-blown business earning in millions only from YouTube. You can be the next big name on YouTube. All you need is the right idea and the right set of tools to create captivating videos that can get views.
It really doesn’t matter whether you are going for negative publicity or positive publicity! You will make money as long as you are getting views. YouTube’s algorithm doesn’t care about the number of likes and dislikes you get. In my experiment with YouTube, I found the most important aspect of YouTube’s algorithm – the more views your videos have, the more popular your channel is in the eyes of YouTube, and the more money you earn.
So, what are you waiting for? You don’t need to have Hollywood-class video editing skills. Simple skills will be more than enough. You can use entry-level software such as Movavi to edit your videos.
#34. Become an Author and Sell Online
I know a lady from India who left her lucrative IT job to become an author. She has picked it up as her full-time job-cum-business. She writes novels and sells them online through channels like Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and so on.
If you can write fiction stories and novels, you can pick this one as a career and create a lucrative business out of it. In case you become successful, you can think of taking it a step ahead and create your own publishing company and invite other authors to get their works published through you!
Depending on how well you write and how captivating your stories are, you can earn big. But I will warn you. Make sure that your work is original. You don’t want to get into copyright lawsuits.
Look around on the internet and you will find dozens of insanely famous authors who have made millions by writing just one or sometimes a few books. So, if you have those creative juices in you, let them flow.
